You didn’t think that was it for the Adeptus Astartes, did you? Don’t worry – hot on the heels of the incredible new Codex: Space Marines, supplements for the Ultramarines and White Scars Chapters, as well as brand-new units such as the Invictor Tactical Warsuit – we’ve got even more goodies for you! Here’s what you’ll be able to pre-order next weekend…
This article was originally published on the Warhammer-community site.
Codex Supplement: Raven Guard
A new book is about to emerge from the shadows… That’s right, the Sons of Corax are set to receive a book all of their own.* Codex Supplement: Raven Guard will serve as your ultimate companion to collecting these consummate stealth specialists. Seriously, they’re like 8-foot-tall, armoured, genetically engineered ninjas! As well as providing you with a detailed background and military organisation of the Chapter, you’ll gain access to psychic powers from the Umbramancy discipline,** unique Relics of the Ravenspire, new Warlord Traits and much more besides!
Codex Supplement: Iron Hands
If you prefer the cold logic of relentless gunishment*** and unyielding stoicism in battle rather than all that sneaking around, the Iron Hands are also getting a codex supplement of their own. Available in both digital formats, hardback or as a premium Collector’s Edition, Codex Supplement: Iron Hands is packed with everything you could ever possibly want to know about the Sons of the Gorgon. In battle, your Iron Hands psykers will also be able to master the Technomancy discipline,**** while your characters can make use of bespoke Warlord Traits, Relics of Medusa and loads of other thematic abilities.
Datacards
For ease of gameplay, don’t forget to pick up the respective Datacard sets for the Raven Guard and Iron Hands. Each pack includes a full set of Tactical Objectives for Maelstrom of War missions, as well as their Chapter’s bespoke psychic discipline and Stratagems to make keeping track of your army in battle nice and easy.
Primaris Upgrade and Transfer Sets
To help get the units in your Raven Guard and Iron Hands collections ready for the battlefield, we’ve got the perfect accessory kits, each providing you with Chapter-specific shoulder pads and thematic accoutrements for your Primaris units, as well as two transfer sheets packed with iconography. As you would expect, the Iron Hands kit includes an array of bionic replacements, while the Raven Guard set even includes the first-ever ‘beaky’ helmet for the Primaris Space Marines range, styled in the manner of the classic Mk VI Corvus-pattern power armour!
More New Miniatures!
The Raven Guard and Iron Hands are also set to receive new Primaris characters in the form of Kayvaan Shrike and Iron Father Feirros. As a Chapter Master, Kayvaan Shrike will cater for all your re-roll-based needs (and we all have those needs), and he’s an expert at leading Vanguard and Jump Pack troops, so will make an excellent leader for your Raven Guard when taking the fight to the enemy. Of course, having crossed the Rubicon Primaris, Kayvaan Shrike is an absolute powerhouse in combat too!
Malkaan Feirros is an Iron Father – an ancient title bestowed upon the most revered warriors of the Iron Hands. As a Master of the Forge, Feirros is able to repair vehicles as the battle rages about him, but he is a warrior first and foremost. Feirros can effortlessly cut foes down with his shoulder-mounted artificer heavy bolter, Gorgon’s Wrath, and hew any who dare to draw within reach of his cog-toothed axe, Harrowhand. If you’re looking for an incredibly capable all-rounder to lead your Sons of the Gorgon to battle, accept no substitute.
It’s not just about the Raven Guard and Iron Hands, though – have you been patiently waiting to get your hands on Eliminators armed with tank-busting las fusils, or a Vanguard Lieutenant to guide the warriors of your strike force? Well, you won’t have long to wait – the multipart Eliminators kit and Primaris Lieutenant in Phobos Armour are on their way! The Eliminators kit offers flexible and powerful new wargear as well as different posing options, while the skull-masked Primaris Lieutenant is all new, sprinting forwards with combat blade drawn under the cover of the smoke grenades billowing at his feet.
All of these codex supplements, Datacards, Primaris Upgrade sets and miniatures will be available to pre-order from next weekend. Until then, why not bolster your force with an Invictor Tactical Warsuit?
* Well… four if we’re being pedantic! You’ll be able to pick up your copy as a standard hardback, deluxe Collector’s Edition, or as an ePub or Enhanced download for your dataslate of choice.
** Hint: It makes them EVEN SNEAKIER!
