- Here are some awesome Imperial Fists we recently painted for a customer!
- We wanted to share some good stories of our buddy, Geoff who recently passed.
And remember, Frontline Gaming sells gaming products at a discount, every day in their webcart!
I unfortunately missed the livestream but got caught up just now…you guys did an awesome job. I’ve been watching you guys for years and that was one of my favorite things I’ve ever seen you do. Between this episode and the memorial stream Day[9] did a few days ago to tells stories from the SC2 side, I can tell you these sorts of things have been a lot of help to me and many others who were fans and admirers of Geoff.
Also really glad to hear about renaming the BAO. Maybe the “iNcontroL Open” has a nice ring to it? Can’t wait to hopefully attend for the first time in the next year or two and compete my best in the spirit of Geoff.
Glad you enjoyed it, Nick. Hard to put in to words what someone meant to you but we tried.
Very emotional and moving episode, and you guys did very well to keep it together. I was watching it live with my better half and it choked us both up.
I hope you’re all doing OK.
Thanks, yeah, it was hard to get through it but I’m glad you enjoyed it.
Honestly it just seems unbelievable still. I know it happened but there was so much remorse felt. I’ve been a big fan of his since I came across him in starcraft but I never reached out to say hi because I thought I’m just some random guy etc.
He was hilarious, kind, outgoing, and such a positive force in the community of gaming as a whole. Whenever I had a crappy week I looked forward to hearing him talk in podcasts especially Chapter tactics. He always brought a smile to my face when I’d be painting or even just sitting on the bus.
Thank you frankie and reece. A lot of people dont even know how much they impacted the community and I know I wont ever get a chance to tell him in person now. But..
Geoff, you are amazing and I’m gonna miss you.
I’ve been a fan since wayyyy back in the Starcraft days. I thought it was so cool when he entered the competitive 40k scene since I was a fan of that too. I remember giving him some early advice about his Tyranids on Twitter and DakkaDakka when he was just getting back into it.
The dude just seemed to love strategy games. I watched him play X-com at some insane difficulty on his stream and he just kept trying and trying despite getting his heart ripped out by the random factors time and time again. He never gave up though and finally beat it, long after I would have given up myself.
I thought it was incredibly sweet of you guys to do the show this close to his passing. It really helps those of us who don’t really have anyone to share our sadness with.
Love ya Geoff.
Heart wrenching episode.
Hope you guys are doing ok.
I know this episode had to be tough to do but wow what a tribute to Geoff! I am sure he is looking down with a very proud look on his face. Heres to you Goeff!
