Whether you prefer the Mortal Realms, the battlefields of the far future, bruising encounters on astrogranite or Hobbits – lots and lots of Hobbits – we’ve got something for you in this week’s pre-order preview.

The Wargroves Awake
Spring has finally sprung for the Sylvaneth, but the wait has been well worth it as the forests stir and the children of Alarielle prepare to bring down their vengeance upon the Mortal Realms.
You’ll be able to unleash the verdant life magics of the Sylvaneth with these endless spells…
…and call for help from the forests themselves with Awakened Wyldwoods.
You’ll also be able to pick up your warscroll cards and special Sylvaneth dice, which are coloured to reflect the changing seasons.
Get ready for the Season of War by picking up a Treelord now.
Enmity and Aeldari
For the 10,000 years since the Battle of Prospero, the Space Wolves and Thousand Sons have been the bitterest of enemies. You can continue this animosity with two new Start Collecting! sets – these money-saving boxes are a great way to kick off a new army or to add to an existing force.
Also available is the plastic Spiritseer that first featured in the Wake the Dead boxed set. These skilled Psykers can lead a Craftworlds or Ynnari force and work best in a Spirit Host army where they can increase the accuracy of Wraith units.
Prepare for the Spiritseer’s arrival by grabbing a unit of Wraithguard.
Wood Elves
For more lithe and graceful models, look to the gridiron! Fast and skilful, the Wood Elves are perfect for any Blood Bowl player who finds the High Elves too pretentious and the Dark Elves too shady. If you want to pull off the sort of plays that keep getting shown again and again on Cabalvision, this is the team that does it.
Full rules for using Wood Elves in Blood Bowl can be found in Issue 6 of Spike! Journal along with a look at their legendary Star Players, tactical guides and all of the usual fun features.
You’ll also be able to get your hands on a new pitch, dice and reference cards.
If you’re worried about what the Wood Elves will bring to the pitch, or if you’ve been struggling against better teams, then you need to grab some Inducements. The Blood Bowl Inducements pack includes 20 cards, a mix of universal and team-specific bonuses and a handy set of double-sided reference cards.
Of course, if you hold a grudge against Elves (or any other team for that matter), then you need to pick up a Dwarf team!
Noble (and not-so-noble) Heroes
The Horus Heresy is a time of legends, and that even extends to god-engines! Two new expansions for Adeptus Titanicus bring a host of famous (and infamous) Titans to your games.
Plus you can add extra tactical options with these Stratagem cards…
…while you can also show your support for Horus or the Emperor with these dice sets.
Whichever side of the divide you’re on, you’ll want to grab some Acastus Knights Porphyrion. Close in size to Scout Class Titans, their two twin magna lascannons will help you burn through enemy void shields in next to no time.
To keep track of your new Knights, you’ll need the Acastus Knights Command Terminals, which let you monitor the status, damage and weapons of your Knights, as well as the Orders you’ve issued to them each turn.
If you’re a fan of Knights of all shapes and sizes, make sure that you’ve got Doom of Molech, which features rules for fielding battlegroups made up entirely of Knights.
The Scouring of the Shire™
Whether you love or hate Hobbits, the Scouring of the Shire will be right up your street. This expansion for the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game features new profiles for a selection of Hobbits and Ruffians, updated army lists, 19 Narrative Play scenarios and much more.
Also coming are rereleases of a number of models that can be used in scenarios from the book – Bullroarer Took and Golfimbul fought each other at the Battle of Greenfields, Gandalf the Grey was a frequent visitor to the Shire and Bilbo Baggins is one of the most famous Hobbits of the Third, or any, Age. Finally, there’s a group of Ruffians to bolster Sharkey’s forces.
Get a headstart on your battle for the Four Farthings by picking up the Scouring of the Shire model set.
