The Frontline Gaming Podcast Network presents 40k Stats Centre. A no no-nonsense tournament news podcast that covers 40k tournaments from all around the world. Today the “Valcon” takes flight. Tune in for list and event coverage from Australia, Denmark, Canada, the US and everywhere in between, with guest clips and interviews from the TOs and players themselves.
Pilot episode, take 2, now with our own music! We apologize for any issues with the interview clips cutting a bit short, we know where the issue lies and it will be gone next week.
Some of the Tournaments Covered:
- Terracon (Major Event)
- Slagcon (Major Event)
- The Beef and Wing Brawl (Major Event)
- And a number of GTs and tournament news from events that happened this weekend.
Do you want your tournament covered?
Then head on over to the ITC web page, email Peter over at 40k Stats.com, sign up your event on BCP or any other public pairings software, or get the word out on your event. There are numerous ways to get your tournament out there. Peter and Val work hard to scour the internet to feature events of all formats and locations. You can make it easier for them by publicly posting lists from your event, making sure your event is well run, and working hard to make sure it is at least a GT sized event (28+ players, 5 or more rounds).
Are you interested in having your tournament promoted by one of the largest competitive 40k podcasts in the world? The Chapter Tactics Warhammer 40k Podcast is offering tournament promotion packages at competitive rates! Email Peteypab for more details.
The jokes! The News! The Tournaments! I love it.
Really good episode guys, I love the format and love the show. I wish you all the best on your 40k podcasting adventure and would love to be the first to officially welcome you to the FLG podcast family. See you on future episodes of Chapter Tactics, 40kSC, and any other podcasts that manage to get their hands on you two rising stars.
The Tau Sept was indeed for the drone protection on the farsight marksmen. We are currently neck deep in vindicare assassins and without drones the marksmen just get picked up and give away command points.
It also allows me to use through unity devastation on the ethereal.
That intro was unbelievably good.
I enjoyed the podcast, you guys were good with keeping on pace and firing around the horn. The sound bites added some real juice in the mix, and kept things interesting.
My only recommendation is to edit the clips further to keep the pod rolling faster. I’d love to hear the tourny intro’s and player commentary as highlights to avoid some of the repetitive sentiments. It also made the POD a little longer for my taste as an update show. Again, both of these are only my opinion!
The hosts did really well responding to the clips and each other with quick inputs and not getting bogged down in deep thoughts or lost in questions.
It actually felt like a sportscenter for 40k, which was surreal and awesome. Well done dudes.
Loved the pod cast you guys!
Thank you for the kind words, and for the inclusion in the episode! If the Board Room Brawl hits the GT status this year I will be sure to get you guys the results/lists to you guys and love the work your doing.
Awesome stuff guys. I think this needs to be a permanent fixture of 40k. As Duncan is to painting you are to 40k competitive play.
Really good stuff – loved it. I am sure you will keep improving it. Good luck.
Great show. The clips of getting players’ thoughts on what makes their list tick are excellent.
Interview commentary was fantastic.
Awesome cast, guys! Loved it.
