Regarding the terminators – the entry in the codex says the base weapons the unit is equipped with is combi bolters and chainaxes – yet the box comes with…1 chain axe.
Are there any other examples of a box not coming with the weapons that the entry says they start equipped with?
It is really really irksome.
The cheapest Unit you can build from the box is 17 Points more than the cheapest Unit you can build from the Codex, too. Not huge, but definitely non-negligible. That takes away over half of their price advantage over Imperial Terminators, and the cheapness is one of the main selling points.
Yeah, that is odd.
Especially since they did change the Datasheet for Havocs to a rather awkward base loadout so it would fit what was in the box.
Also feels kind of weird given the ridiculous pile of GSC Hand Flamers I’m accumulating. They’ll throw all those on the sprue instead of something more useful like another Saw, but don’t even have the base equipment for all 5 Termies in the box?
