  1. Question for Reece – like you mentioned in the show and like a lot of us, you’re excited about using the chosen of the pantheon strat on a squad of deep striking terminators (or I guess you could also do Obliterators).

However the strat says “At the start of your turn…” so can this be use on a unit in a transport or in deep strike reserve? Kind of terrible if you can’t. At that point you are better off not spending the CP and making them Slaanesh since you absolutely have to be able to double tap when they come down (and out FNP on them). Sounds to me like the strat is awful unless GW says in the FAQ in two weeks that you can use it on a unit in a transport or in reserve.

The Dark Apostle start of the game turn prayers have the same issue…

    1. Sounds like the GSC Strat “Monstrous Vigor” to buff Abbs, can only use it at the start of your turn, except you’d typically only ever DS them.

      Sometimes strats are just poopy.

      1. As stated above, I actually start my Termies on the table these days. I find it’s better to just start blasting people with the massive amount of Bolter Shots right out the gates. YMMV of course.

    2. Yeah, as I read it you have to start on the table to use it. But, I think a big unit of Termies is actually better off starting on the table in most cases now with Bolter Discipline, honestly.

      1. Ouch, really unfortunate for those of us hoping to deep strike on. Particularly with plasma. Those guys are too expensive not to have a double tap and a FNP right when they come down. So much for that list I was planning on buying and running. I guess I can drop a few sorcerers with the other marks…would have been really nice though.
