Really exciting for fans of the Invincible comic series!
So, I am a lot late on the draw on this one, but it is really exciting for me as I am a massive fan of the comics and animated series!
So, Invincible for those of you that don’t know, is a classic super hero comic written by Robert Kirkman of the Walking Dead fame. It follows a lot of the tropes of the genre you expect but gives them a twist. Imagine a character that is the son of a character similar to Superman and starts to develop powers of his own but is infinitely more vulnerable and approachable in a modern setting filled with cool and colorful characters where there is real danger. No one has plot armor in this setting. hey also tackle very real and human situations that make it so much more than a run of the mill super hero comic. It’s an absolutely amazing series and I cannot recommend if enough. The story ran 15 years and concluded back in February of 2018. So, when I learned it was coming to Amazon was picking it up to produce as an animated series and that it was going to be for adults and that it was being animated by the same studio that did Teen Titans, I was juiced! The launch date is some time in 2020.
