First up, we’ve got exciting news on the future of Kill Team.
Kill Team: Elites is a massive new expansion that brings the very deadliest troops to skirmish combat in the 41st Millennium. Inside, you’ll find rules that let you field anything from Terminators to Crisis Battlesuits to your games.
Every faction has new units to use, including the Vanguard Space Marines from Shadowspear and some much-requested additions, such as Mandrakes and Striking Scorpions. We’ve even gone and added a whole new faction: the Adeptus Custodes – the most elite kill team in the game.
We’ll be making it easy to add Elites to your kill team roster with a host of boxed expansions. Like previous sets, these will give you themed tokens and a ready-to-go squad of warriors, complete with lore and specialisms. Alternatively, you’ll be able to build them as your own custom kill team and take advantage of rules content only found in these boxes!
Looks like Kill Team is about to get a whole lot killier! We’ll be bringing you the latest news on Kill Team Elites on the Warhammer 40,00 Facebook page, so make sure to follow us to stay up-to-date.
The world of Blood Bowl is full of stories of triumph and glory – of teams that defied the odds and, through heart, soul and teamwork (or sacrifices to the Dark Gods), managed to rise above their limits and become legendary.
And then there are the Halflings.
Welcome to Blood Bowl on “Hard” mode.
For those of you new to the game of fantasy football, Halflings are, objectively, without even a shadow of a doubt, the worst team in the game. A Halfling has the deftness and grace of an Ogre, the ball handling skills of an Orc, and the durability of a particularly sickly Skaven – and, despite these faults, an inexplicable desire to play Blood Bowl. Now, the Halflings are taking the field once more with a brand-new team expansion…
Of course, for Halfling coaches, it’s not about being the best. It’s about the love of the game. It’s gritting your teeth as another star Lineman all but explodes from the tiniest of tackles. It’s putting half a dozen players in the enemy end zone in the hope that one of them maybe, just maybe, manages to catch the ball. It’s that one game in ten where despite everything, you manage to bring the game to a draw – or, Nuffle willing, a hard-fought win.
The new Halfling models capture the spirit of the team perfectly – while these guys might struggle to fit into their uniforms, or even keep a hold of the ball, there’s no doubting the determination on their faces. Or is that hunger?
The Halflings will be available in the coming months alongside a range of Halfling-themed goodies, so keep an eye out – and let us know how excited you are on the Blood Bowl Facebook page.
It wouldn’t be Necromunda without Kal Jerico (and his trusty sidekick Scabbs), would it? Stars of the legendary Kal Jerico series from Black Library, not to mention countless classic campaigns on tabletops around the world, it was only fitting these two vagabonds should receive new models.
These classic characters have been brought to life as you’ve always imagined them, drawing on years of art and lore to bring you some glorious new models that are a treat for long-time fans of the books and Necromunda players looking to add some extra firepower to their gang alike.
Make sure to follow the Necromunda Facebook page to ensure you don’t miss any announcements!
We’re just getting started with the news from GAMA so check back tomorrow for the next reveal…
