Nerdery: ‘G.I. Joe’ Spin-Off ‘Snake Eyes’ Back to Life with ‘RED’ Director Robert Schwentke

If you’re a GI Joe fan (like most of us born in the 70’s to early 90’s were) then this is some exciting news!

Word is that Snake Eyes will be coming to the big screen with the director of Red at the helm. The GI Joe movies made money but let’s be real, they weren’t very good. The scenes with Snake Eyes though, tended to be the best.

It’ll be interesting to see how they handle it, I imagine it would have to be a bit like the Conan movies as Snake Eyes doesn’t speak or take his mask off which is tough to do for a main character.
