  1. Donthemagnificent

Great episode. Much easier to follow along with than the last one was. I will say, though… I play chaos shooting armies 🙁 . Who said they aren’t viable?

  2. Pablo,
you need to work on your audio recording set up. I can hear your guests speaking a second time, it’s as if you are using speakers, but I imagine that’s not the case. It’s very faint, but just enough to be noticeable

  3. It wasn’t my mic, and sadly no amount of pre-audio testing can fix mistakes. My guests don’t usually podcast regularly and I can’t always expect their audio to be perfect.

In this case we actually had two audio testing sessions before the recording, on top of the hours I spent editing as much of the white noise and weird sounds as I could.

Audio stuff just happens. Especially if I want a variety of guests on the show.

    1. Your audio recording system puts in “skips” where it verbatim repeats audio that was just said. Its not the person recording it saying the things twice- its the system. You need to go back, find these, and edit them out.

I know this having been a guest on your show.

  4. You touched on this a bit, but my biggest struggle in the movement phase is having my modela block each others’ movement. I’ve been playing 120-150 Orks. They need to bunch up in order to take advantage of the Kustom Force Field and Painboy. But that bunching up makes for problems in movement. It’s a balance that I’m still trying to sort out.

    1. Hey man!

I understand your plight, and at least you know now what you need to work on. Sadly I can’t give you exact advice, it’s a problem that can only be solved by practice and time.

  5. Enjoyed this episode immensely. Thought all the panelists contributions were insightful, and I particularly enjoyed Brandon’s succinct and articulate breakdowns. Great stuff, Pablo, looking forward to more of these 101 episodes.

  6. So, in the end, there are 3 basic movement phases:
    The movement movement phase,
    The charge movement phase,
The pile in – combat – consolidate phase.
And then, some special movement phases via psychic powers and stratagems.

Good podcast. I’ve been listening you for a while, and in each episode there’s interesting content.
