- We’ve got a new FLG Mat: Asphalt. This is a very cool new mat and is perfect for urban settings. Grab it out of the web-cart at a nice discount during the release week! This offer ends Tuesday, August 14th, 2018.
- Adeptus Titanicus is on the way! This exciting new game from GW looks fantastic and we can’t wait to tell you more about it! Stay tuned to FLG for a review of the game, soon.

- The LVO 2019 continues to build in awesomeness! We will be adding Kill Teams, Dropzone and Dropfleet Commander events this week and we’ve got some very cool news on the way regarding other games as well. Additionally our Flames of War tournament is the West Coast Nationals! Tickets have been moving steadily so grab one if you want to participate.
- The SoCal Open 2018 draws nearer! With the BAO behind us this is the next big event for us and it is already much bigger than last year’s event. Coming down the home stretch of the season before the Holidays when event cool down, this will be one of the last opportunities to throw up a big score before the LVO!
- Be sure to watch the coverage from the NOVA Open! GW, Frankie, Geoff and Mariana will be bringing you some awesome coverage of the event.
Upcoming ITC Events
- The updated ITC missions are nearly a go! Thanks so much for all of the feedback you’ve given us so far, it’s been mega helpful.
- This will be a fine tuning, not a major change. Any major structural changes will wait until the new season.
- Here’s some interesting data from the poll!
- Generally speaking, you all told us you really enjoy the ITC missions but feel there is some room for improvement.
- Most popular vote on if you liked the mission or not was a 4 out of 5 (49.6% of respondents) followed by a 5 out of 5 (31%), then a 3 (13.3%) followed by 1 (5.2%) then 2 (3.7%).
- You all really like the primary mission!
- 89% of respondents said they liked the Primary mission!
- Most popular scenario:
- 34% of respondents said scenario 6 (“Precious Cargo” with 4 objectives, one of which you move) was their favorite mission. It’s my personal favorite, too!
- Only 2% of respondents said scenario 4 (“What’s Yours is Mine” with 2 nine inch control zones) was their favorite…lol.
- Least popular scenario:
- With a whopping 50.6% of the votes, scenario 4 was voted the least popular!
- At only 2.4% of the vote, scenario 3 was the least offensive (Nexus Control, 4 static objectives).
- Most popular secondaries:
- 90.2% of respondents said they liked Old School.
- 85.7% of respondents said they liked Recon.
- 78.9% of respondents said they liked Headhunter.
- Least popular secondaries:
- 76.4% of respondents said they thought Gang Busters could be improved.
- 64.6% of respondents said they thought Death by 1,000 Cuts could be improved.
- 67.3% of respondents said they thought The Reaper could be improved.
- Lastly, our concerns about the complexity of score keeping are largely not a big deal. 89% of you said you found it easy to keep score.
