News
- The LVO 2019 is shattering all previous registration figures! We’re working hard to try and accommodate as many of the folks on the wait list as possible. Frankie and Reece are heading to Vegas this weekend not only for the Gentleman’s 40k event which looks awesome but to scout the additional space we are looking to grab for the LVO 2019.
- When and if this works out (which at this point we’re very confident it will) we will be able to accommodate quite a few more players for the 40k events.
- However, as there are a lot more people on the wait list than we will be able to accommodate, it will likely be a rush to grab tickets again.
- We will let everyone know when the additional tickets go up for sale in advance so those of you on the wait list can prepare.
- If these events sell out again (which it very much looks like they will) we will be looking at just massive events! The 40k Champs would be sitting at 620 players making it the hands down biggest 40k event in the world.
- We’ve already begun planning to keep the terrain level of quality high and to make enough terrain by bringing on several part time workers to meet the demand.
- Also, this means that mathematically (remembering the possibility for tie games) we should still end up with 8 or less undefeated players going into the finals, and as such will not need another round of play. Win!
- The next Horus Heresy book, book 8, Malevolence will feature White Scars and Blood Angels against the Daemonic hordes. So, we can expect to see Jaghati Khan and Sanguinius, possibly even Ka’Bandha!
- The Space Wolves and Ork codexes have been announced and to be on the way. Get excited if you are a Wolf or Ork player!
- The big news of course though, is the 2nd edition of Age of Sigmar on the way very soon!
- Updated rules, points and story-line!
- New summoning rules.
- New missions.

My problem with the dice app is not the ‘hacking’ issue. That never came to mind. I just like to watch my opponents dice. It’s not so bad when my opponent uses it on an ipad which has a big screen, so i can watch it, but where it gets annoying is when it’s used on a phone, and it’s just seeing things narrowly, or worst case I need to move to my opponents side of the table to watch his rolls every time it is used. I just prefer real dice.
So you’ve tested different points levels with 8th edition ? When ?
What about the appalling sportsmanship by two Americans at the LVO Final with their blatant time-wasting? Blaming one good Ork general when you’re own did this is nonsense.
I’m really not convinced about chess clocks; look at the players already “training” to defeat many of the processes.
