Codex Imperial Knights
The ground shakes as the Imperial Knights march to war. Guided by a Noble pilot, an Imperial Knight moves with a speed and grace that should not be possible from such a towering engine of war. Enemy fire pinging harmlessly off its thick armour, ion shields flashing with brilliant light, the Imperial Knight unleashes incredibly powerful weaponry, able to wipe entire battalions off the map with a single volley of explosive chain-gun fire. Should any enemy survive this bullet hell, the Knight also wields terrifying close-combat capabilities – smashing through the thickest armour with its enormous gauntlets and crushing foes under its massive feet. To see a squadron of Imperial Knights is to gaze upon the full splendour – and might – of the Imperium.
Armiger Helverins
The Armiger Helverin is a fast-moving weapons platform designed to lay down blistering hails of heavy fire while running rings around the enemy’s forces. In place of the close-ranged armaments of the Warglaive, each Helverin bears a pair of Armiger autocannon. Capable of firing hundreds of armour-piercing shells per minute, even a single such weapon can swiftly whittle down infantry ranks or shred armoured vehicles. Armiger Helverins are versatile and highly destructive – small wonder that they are popular amongst both Imperial and Adeptus Mechanicus Noble houses, relied upon to support their larger compatriots at war.
Knight Valiant
The Knight Valiant defeats its enemies through the simple principle of applying overwhelming firepower at close proximity. Marching relentlessly into the fight, gunfire scattering uselessly from its ion shield, the Valiant unleashes such devastating punishment against its targets in such a short space of time that they can neither fight back nor endure. Combining the pummeling fire of its siegebreaker cannon, thundercoil harpoon, conflagration cannon and shieldbreaker missiles, it is not hard to see how enemy forces soon disintegrate when the Valiant turns its wrath upon them.
Knight Castellan
The Knight Castellan can be likened to a towering fortress, a bastion of Imperial might garrisoned by a single Noble lord and armed with an array of weapons so fearsome that they can tear the heart from an invading army. It is the foremost artillery platform within the lances of the knightly houses, hammering the enemy at extreme range from the moment the fight begins. With its dual plasma core sending energy surging through its huge frame, the Castellan can mount a frightening amount of weapons systems while maintaining its ion shield against incoming fire. They are employed to punish those dishonourable enemies who cower behind veils of arcane energy or the massed ranks of lesser warriors – after all, as the pilots of the Knights Castellan are fond of saying, there is no escape from the Emperor’s wrath.
Imperial Knights: Renegade
Dominating the battlefield with their size and firepower, Imperial Knights are towering bipedal weapons platforms that hold no quarter in eliminating their targets – but like anything else, they are vulnerable to the dark clutches of Chaos. The Freeblade Knight once known as the Living Litany is an unfortunate example; nobody knows what truly happened to this once-valiant hero, only that it has renamed itself Litany of Destruction, and has been leaving a brutal trail of devastation in its wake – including the near-annihilation of the legendary Knight Paladin Ever-Stalwart on Tellerax Prime. The Imperial Knight Red Might heads for the Nachmund system with a single goal in mind – hunt down his fallen brother and silence the lunatic dirge of the Litany of Destruction, or die trying!
Sacristan Forgeshrine
Deployed at the forefront of battle, a Sacristan Forgeshrine forms a vital support hub for knightly lances. Vital rituals are carried out here, the Forgeshrine’s Auto-Sacristan offering repairs, refuelling and reloading of shieldbreaker missiles as Noble pilots require.
