The Primaris Project Hobby Update 3: Vehicles

We’re back, baby!

After a significant delay (it was seriously one thing after another) I am happy to say we are back, baby! For those of you unfamiliar with what the Primaris Project is, here’s a brief recap: to build a competitive Primaris Space Marine army, painted to our very affordable Tournament Standard with the FLG Paint Studio and take it out into the real world at events to see how it goes. Below is a recap of the adventure so far.

So where we’re at now is the addition of a Redemptor Dreadnought and a Repulsor tank! Note, the Repulsor is fully magnetized to make it easy to swap weapons around and experiment with different load outs. These are still WIP, but they’re coming along nicely.

I have high hopes for these models. In a meta filled with loads of cheap bodies, these bad boys when loaded out for maximum dakka, will lay down a wall of lead! The more I read about them the more I think they’re going to be quite good for plowing through hordes of models and taking out light vehicles. Time will tell of course, but on paper they look great. Here are a few of the other units we’ve got to give you all a reminder!

Looking forward to keeping the momentum going on this bad boy!

  1. I’m really keen to follow progress on this. Not only do I really like the color scheme, but I love the challenge too. Whose gonna be taking this army out for games?

  2. Wahoo! About to finally start my own Primaris project as a pick up and play army for friends (and occasionally me too). They’re a nice simple army but with a few tricks up their sleeve. I’m going with my own scheme too but I’m already thinking Strike from the Shadows Aggressors may be deadly!

  3. YES! Finally the primaris project is back!

I have been building my primaris army as well (the bases of which would match your snow tundra mat quite well actually…) to join in the project and its almost ready to hit the table top. I can’t wait to see some battle reports and tactics write ups with useful tips in the future. Any rough time frame when we can expect some articles?

Keep up the awesome work! FLG is hands down my favorite site for 40k!

    1. As soon as I have an army built and painted! We hit a major delay as the artist working on it had some big life stuff happen but we’ve got it back on track, now.
