Welcome to the sceond annual SoCal Open, a tabletop gaming event by the Frontline Gaming team who have brought you the Las Vegas Open and the Bay Area Open. This event is located at the Del Mar Fairgrounds and Racetrack.
This event will feature tabletop gaming events and tournaments for:
- Warhammer 40,000 Championships
- This will be an ITC Format event using the ITC Champions Missions.
- 6 rounds of play, 3 rounds Saturday and 3 on Sunday.
- 3 hour rounds.
- Saturday registration opens at 8am, dice roll at 9am.
- Sunday final round ends at 7:30pm, awards to be done no later than 8:30pm.
- Warhammer 40,000 Narrative
- An engaging, narrative driven Warhammer 40,000 weekend long campaign.
- Brought to you by the same team that ran the extremely popular LVO 40k Narrative event!
- Two rounds of play per day, 75 power level for the first round of the day, 100 power level for the second.
- Registration opens at 8am, dice roll at 9am.
- Sunday awards and campaign resolution to be done no later than 8:30pm.
- Age of Sigmar Championships

- Saturday and Sunday tournaments (admittance to both covered by your ticket!)
- Registration begins at 9:00am, round 1 begins at 10:00am.
- 3 rounds of play, 90 minutes per round.

- All events will run death clock.
- Fully painted armies will receive raffle tickets during each tournament for prizes at the end of the tournament and the weekend. Playing with painted armies will be the only way to earn raffle tickets!
- All events will be run with SR2017 (or whatever the most recent Steam Roller document is at that time).
- The event winner will win a FREE ticket to the LVO 2019 and a pre-qualified entry into the Masters event of the LVO 2019!
- We will have raffle prizes this year, too! More details to come.

- Check in: 9am, dice roll at 10am. Event ends at 7:30pm.
- 75 points.
- 2nd list optional, ADR/Vanguard.
- 3-4 rounds (Finish on Sunday).
- PARTY! We will find a place to hang out and relax with food and drinks. This will be a relaxed, fun event to meet and make new friends!

There will also be discounted gaming products at the event as well including out entire Second Hand Shop which was super popular last year.
The event will occur at the beautiful Del Mar Fairgrounds in sunny San Diego county. Close to the beach and the famous race tracks, the Del Mar Fairground provide a beautiful backdrop for the event, and plenty of entertainment for non-gaming family and friends that make the trip with you. The Del Mar beaches are less than a mile from where we play, so family and loved ones can have a great time at the beach while we nerd out! You can read about last year’s event, here.
We anticipate this event will fill up quickly, so be sure to grab your tickets early!
These will of course be ITC events and we anticipate all to be Major level events, ensuring loads of ITC points! Of course, there will also be prizes galore.
