News
- The 8th Annual BAO will be held at Game Kastle in Mountain View again, July 28th-29th, 2018. Tickets will go on sale at noon PST on Monday, February 12th. Make sure not to hesitate on grabbing a ticket if you want to go as the event sells out faster and faster each year. We anticipate a 1 day sell out this year.
- Rogal Dorn revealed for 30k!
- The Malign Portents books and models are up for pre-order this week. Get them in the FLG Web-cart if interested. Some of them look pretty interesting and the Stormcast Engineer looks almost too good….
- TONS of awesome stuff came out of the Necromunda/Horus Heresy weekender!
- Two new Warbands for Shadespire on the way! Spiteclaw’s Swarm and The Chosen Axes.
- Also, obviously the next three 40k Codexes were revealed at the LVO!
- More exciting new supplements for AoS and 40k. We’ve got the Legions of Nagash up for pre-order and the Thousand Sons Codex which is out. Be sure to check out our Codex Review of the 1K Sons Dex. We’ll have more in depth coverage for you as we go, we’re still playing catch up.

Is there going to be a friendly 40k event at BAO or just competitive?

Were any new ITC Terrain sets announced at the LVO? I believe you guys said you were revealing one or two at the event.
Yes they were! We’ve been so dang busy playing catch up we haven’t been able to get it out there for everyone else. However, i can say they were a big hit and people really liked them!

Will the BAO have an Age of Sigmar event this year or just 40k?
Unfortunately, no. We lack the space. As the 40k event fills up super fast we just stick with that. Now, that said, we’re looking at doing an AoS BAO GT too, but still in the early stages of planning it and not certain if it will pan out or not.
Well, as someone whom faced the new 1K Sons in a team game last night, getting a Tzaangor bomb + Mutalith V. Beast in my lap the top of turn 1 . . . yeah, there’s life beyond Magnus + Smite spam for the walking dust in cans. My buddy will proxy test Scarab Occult Termies next, hopefully he can find a use for those lovely models. The Tzaangor Shaman on disk trailing close behind was good support for this “Tz. Melee Bomb”–& it had the calvary keyword, so Sly Marbo got killed trying to gank him :-/
