Will the “nerf” point changes be added to the faq? Or are brimstones only nerfed if you use the codex
Per GW (and exactly the same in AoS), the most recent version of any datasheet is the one you use. So, the new Brimstone datasheet trumps that used in the Index, and the same goes for any other duplicate datasheet.
So a daemon player is required to have the rules for a book they would not otherwise purchase?
No, but you are required to play 3pts per base for them, now =)
I will double check on this one but I am almost certain that is applies to Daemons, too. And it should, honestly, Brims are way too good, lol.
Yeah, confirmed. Everyone uses the newest datasheet, so 3pts and only 1 Mortal Wound on Smite unless you have 10 Pinks in the unit.
Yeah, that’s fine then. As long as I don’t need to own the book.
Thanks!
Hey Reece do you guys think Fire Frenzy can be used with forgeworld helbrutes too? They do have the helbrute keyword now and we all remember Longstrike.
I do not see why they wouldn’t. They have the Helbrute keyword, now.

Not when it comes to different wargear options from different datasheets. On that issue gw contradicts itself.
Cannot wait to model a Dreadnight into a Grand Master! That means I get both of what I love in one shiny baby-carrier!
