I am surprised the warherds aren’t listed. Maybe it has to do with a lot of them being blown up in the godbeasts book. I’m just surprised because they have been mentioned.
They do have Brayherds in there.
I saw that. It makes me wonder if they are recombining the two. I didn’t think they would be because in the story so far they have mentioned them each separately. Either way I can’t wait. Fyreslayers are getting some cool stuff too and I finally got around to them. I just need a few more SC boxes from the local store and I can field most of the combos I want.
The little Dispossessed teaser got my heart pumping and ready for a good grudging. Looking forward to that definitely, im so excited. But I think there may be a page 2 to the ToC or they didnt show us all of it, because I think there’s more. It just doesn’t make sense that they wouldnt do allegiance abilities for greenskins, gutbusters, gitmob, or moonclan, all of which are big model ranges still sold today, and seem like they should have something. Unless of course you say they will get their own battletomes soon. But with GW pushing 10 codexes before the end of the year, I can’t see why they won’t show that same dedication and get us a batch of Battletomes we have all been asking for since the beginning.
On the subject of factions that don’t have allegiance abilities, I think some are big factions, as Reece said, but others are sort of ally-tier. They won’t get allegiances, but are meant to supplement other armies. So Devoted of Sigmar are never meant to be a main faction, but an ally faction. They can still be primarily taken of course, but you could only use the main Order allegiance abilities for them (which isn’t bad for them, rerolling battleshock is nearly essential for flagellants).
Anyway I too have been caught up with 40k recently, but I have been feeling that same old pull for AoS and I am so stoked for this book. Thanks guys for keeping this podcast going. I watch every episode.
Looking good to me. Allies alone will shake up the meta, to say nothing of new Allegiances. I’m excited for new points and missions! My Stormcast are looking forward to the next phase.
