Monday Night Fight: Grey Knights vs. Eldar

We’ve got another fun game tonight, the Raw Dogger continues to experiment with Grey Knights vs. Reecius’ tried and true Wraith Host Ynnari! Joins us a 5pm PST for the fun on our Twitch Channel.

Reecius’ Wraith Host has been doing quite well. He’s running about 6-1-1 with it so far which is fairly impressive considering this same army would have been all but unplayable in previous editions! How will it fare against the Grey Knights?

  1. Thanks guys for all your coverage. Any reason no one plays 1000 Sons in the bat reps? Are they that bad? Got my first game on Sunday.

      1. Sons are incredibly good looking on the tabletop, if I had more time I would get a 1ksons army myself. The models are awesome.

  2. Elite vs Elite, interesting game to watch!

For that Eldar list, do you not have problems getting the Wraithguard across the table without Wave Serpents? They seem to be really slow and short ranged to walk across without getting shot down (not that the GK list is heavy on the ranged aspect of it).

    1. The Wraithguard are surprisingly quick. Their weapons are Assault so they can advance and shoot, and with Soulburst, they can get fairly speedy.

  3. Double check your points on the Land Raider, I think you may be 50 short due to only paying for one twin lascannon, and the LR has 2. Or am I reading it wrong?

  4. Double check your points for the Land Raider, I think you may be 50 short due to having to purchase 2 twin Lascannons, not just one. Or am I reading it wrong?

Reaver jet bikes heat lances over blasters?

I would love to hear some thoughts on this.
Blasters seem better to me in most situations. Especially since blasters are cheaper. But I love heat lances so would love to hear your thoughts

  6. I get that Jason is learning 8th but randomly doing nothing on his T1 and letting you kill his Raven was a bit silly
