  1. Woah, grav was (rightfully) nerfed into the ground. It’ll still F up stuff with a good armor save (and is better against light armor). Excellent.

    1. Grav can not possibly be nerfed enough. If it blows up your own unit the moment you fire it and makes someone come into your house and take a dump on your bed that’s still not nerfed enough.

          1. I often chalk it up to just who wrote the book. There were some authors/teams that just seemed to not understand how things would play on the table competitively.

            *cough* Toxicrene *cough*

  2. So, this was written by community team? It feels more like people with the rules and less like playtesters.
Still great info. Grav still good, just not the be all end all 4 shots is still better than other heavy weapons and it can shred hordes as well.

  3. It definitely sounds more balanced. I think most players prefer fighting against monstrous heroes who give inspiration to squads vs a hero unit that takes 3+ turns for one wound

I know you can’t say specifics but some info has been leaked, and I saw how Sternguard works. Did you guys get a chance to play test them? They seem kind of useless in the grand scheme of things, they don’t have special ammo, just a special Bolter that only has one mode. But if they take combi weapons they lose the special Bolter. So what’s the point of taking them over company veterans who have a special ability?

Kind of sad to see they got nerfed and don’t seem to serve a real purpose points wise or rules wise.
