Could be the announcement for Generals Handbook V2 since the warhammer live team is attending SCGT. I believe the organizers helped gw test the formats.

It’s funny you guys mentioned using the Mantic Veer’myn as counts-as. I made a Dark Eldar (Haemonculus Covens) army for the Harvester of Souls GT up in Spokane Valley, Wa. It didn’t use entirely mantic Veer’myn, but a mix of heavily converted dark eldar and veer’myn. I got Best in Appearance trophy. It’s pretty much space skaven created by an insane Haemonculus.
