New Keywords for Units! Chaos Players Rejoice!

Mutalisk

The new keywords for Mutalith Vortex Beast and Slaughterbrute mean these are now fine options for a pure Tzeentch or Khorne force, allowing them to keep the Allegiance Abilities from the new Blades of Khorne and Disciples of Tzeentch Battletomes.

  1. So what you’re saying is against Stormcast lists you might actually have to rely on good… combat units?!? 😛

Sarcasm aside I’m completely fine with anything that gives shooting a kick. Funny you mentioned Bonesplitaz given that chopping up monsters is what they do best outside of kunin ruck silliness 😉

Great podcast as ever, also cool to see GW are going to use Best Coast Pairings for their tournaments.

      1. Big infantry units with buffs can do work, halbediers/spears for pure damage or Great Swords if you’ve got the points, also the general on griffon. Shame Demigryph Knights are quite naff.

But yeah otherwise you’d need to look elsewhere in Order, doubt it’d be worth changing up your very nasty list for the chance of a hard counter though.

  2. If you want to run a really ” feelsbadman with a gun” army try this lockdown army:

    Be’lakor
    Fateweaver
    3+ Jabberslythes
    Misc battle line units

You basically lock down your opponents best units for the entire game. The more Jabberslythe the better. You can use fateweaver to auto lock units by rolling a 6 for the jabber ability or on be’lakors.

      1. Yea, but seems vulnerable to ranged armies, also lists like that seem kinda boring, since your opponent just sits there, while you slowly grind their units down. Id play it in a national tourney tho.

      1. Daemons with skaven. I got pretty intrested in the formation of plagueclaws. How would you stucture the rest of the army that used plagueclaw formation and epidemius?

What units make the best use of the tallyman rule?
