Also, we’re putting out the call for any and all terrain volunteers to help us finish off this mammoth project! last weekend we got so much done and had a lot of fun, too. Anyone that can come by and help, please do. We will feed you. We get rolling around 9:00am Saturday and Sunday, feel free to drop by any time you can, it is greatly appreciated. The effort though, is going to be well worth it. These new tables look awesome.
We thought it’d be fun to show how many players registered with what armies coming down the home stretch, here. We sold 500 tickets so far! Wow, so we did hit our goal, but with refunds and transfers (a lot of players went over to 30k and Aos!) we are sitting at 430 currently, which is incredible and if previous sales data is any indicator, that number will likely rise to close to 450 before it’s go time with last minute sales and walk-ins. That’s not to mention the sold out 40k Friendly with 40, the 40k Narrative, with another 70+ players, 30k with a huge turnout, AoS pushing 100, etc. It’s going to be a massive turnout and we are so pumped to see everyone having fun! We anticipate that in 2018 and 2019 we will cap out at 512 relatively quickly going off of our growth patterns. This is good data though for anyone out there looking to scale up their event to understand how the cash flow of event’s ticket sales will fluctuate over the course of the sale period. Bear in mind also, that many of these players have probably since changed their minds as to what they are bringing to the event so the actual numbers will vary by a bit. And, seeing this data will also influence some players’ choices at the last minute, too of course, haha. We’ll throw up this data for the other events, too! It’s fun to see.

This comes to us from J. Swenson:
Forthammer Clan Throng (Dispossessed)
Lead by engineering genius, Lord Dunhill Behrunsson, the Throng has left
their family’s long sanctuary of Azyr in search of reclaiming their
ancestral holds in Chamon. He is accompanied by his son, Drake Dunsson
(Cogsmith) and brother Norri Behrunsson (Thane with Battle Standard).
The Forthammer clan motto has become “Reclaim our grudges, reclaim our
holds!”
Forgesworn Eternals (Stormcast Eternals)
The Forgesworn Eternals are said to be Gungni’s last stormhost he
reforged before he left Azyr. The craftsmanship of his last project
shows in everything. The Forgesworn were a Free Peoples society that had
a very close relation with the Duardin holds nearby. In their reforging,
they kept the same affinity for Grungni’s children. The Forgesworn
Eternals are unique in that they venerate both Grungni and Sigmar
equally. In their warcry, the Lord-Celestant Hanzbur Anvilhelm (with his
Dire Bear, Storbjorn) calls to the host “FROM THE FORGE WE ARE BORN” and
they ring in reply “TO THE FORGE WE ARE SWORN”
Thankyou for reading my email. I definitely look forward to playing in
the AoS tournament at the LVO.
