Did you just win an ITC event? Is your list dominating everyone it crosses? Did you just recently do well with a unique list at a large event? I want to hear about it! Just send it to
frontlinegamingpeteypab@gmail.com
Please do not send your army list in a format such as Army Builder, send them in an easy to read, typed format. Thanks!
I’m crafting my own GSC list at the moment, and would be interested in seeing Geoff’s take on it.
I attended the event. The sky did not fall. The Ta’unar did make a good showing, but I don’t think it really just crushed the meta or anything. This was a no holds barred anything goes event and it was amazing.
I agree. The people who brought it, for the most part, were going to finish exactly where the did if not very close to it. The missions made it very difficult for the Tau’nar to succeed in many cases. I had a great time and I’m glad that you did amongst all of the doom and gloom that surrounded the allowance of the Super Tuna. haha
In all honesty, I hope you had a blast and as a member of The General Staff and collaborator for WZA, thank you for coming! It’s players like you that brought the right attitude that made it the event that it was and will continue to b.
Fair enough, I did not attend the event so I’m glad it wasn’t over centralizing. I still think it is very powerful and shouldn’t be allowed completely unchecked. At least craft missions (like WZ ATL) that don’t favor it.
From the pictures I saw the terrain was rather lacking both in quality and quantity.
We actually had fantastic terrain! Most of the terrain was on loan from Shane at Dicehead who runs ATC. Seeing as we have less tables than ATC, we could double up the terrain on many of them. Also, many of our tables were fully decked out with mats and pre-painted terrain from Gamemats.eu, I actually played round one, on camera on of of those tables. I’d love to also have some tables featuring FAT Mats and LVO terrain next year as well!
As Price said in another thread, this is only our second year and with each year we plan to grow in phases. This year, we wanted to make sure we had enough gaming mats for every table – which we did. Next year, our focus is on improving the terrain and making themed table.
Those top two lists are, well, bizarre. Glad to see people getting creative though!
Would never have suspected double Skyhost to be a tourney winning formula, but hell yeah! Eat you’re heart out Gladius!
Also what on earth is Fateweaver doing in Perkins list??
Warzone: ATL was a great event. You can read an interview with Mike Twitchell on the Warzone Atl facebook page. The taunar was good, but it could not deal with daemon MSU.
