I actually get a little frustrated when people post stuff like this
Tau VS chaos. When it’s really not tau at all. It’s a riptide wing with nothing else tau. No ethereals, no crisis suits, no firewarriors no stormsurges Just bull, eldar kin that’s what it really is it’s the warlord, primary detachment. The riptide wing is 1 formation. Some of us actually work hard to make unique tau lists. Am I the only one that feels this way.
I’m in agreement with you. I hate seeing “X and Tau” over and over again when it’s really just “X and riptide wing”.
Saying taudar instead of eldar combined arms detachment and dark eldar allies as well as riptide wing formation tends to be easier to put in titles and thumbnails.
Nobody said it’s a tau list and it’s clearly intended as an eldar list with friends. It’s also perfectly fine for both you and anyone else to bring whatever they want in any list and call it what they want. Taudar is just the name given to eldar lists that bring riptides.
