Today PeteyPab and his guest go over both the ways to beat, and play Eldar competitively. Other than the usual ways of course. We also cover a Blood Angels list in the List-Lab.
Today Julio and I go over what to expect when you play Eldar, what kinds of Eldar lists you wil expect to see, and how to win with, and beat top tier Eldar lists.
You can check out Julio’s team the NWO Blackshirts at this link, and keep up with him on twitch where he is sometimes featured on his friend’s channel.

Thanks Sean! You beautiful bastard.
Was impressed until I saw Riptide wing….over it!
Haha, just kidding, well done as always, Sean.
Well the list I was using had more spears and no banshees. But this looks like the new direction to account for the genestealer cult stuff that I anticipate getting popular.
Fair enough, interceptor and SMS own GSC.
PeteyPab has some real insight and knowledge of the tournament meta but maybe take steps to improve the sound quality. Adding a 2nd chair host could help keep the conversation moving forward also.
Care to elaborate? Whose sound quality was bad? Because I changed mics this time, to a more quality recording mic and tried to take steps to improve sound quality on my end. Also, sadly not everyone has solid recording gear.
I’m not trying to be defensive I just genuinely care about improving the podcast. Also, I feel like Reece is in too much already, and Frankie has been busy. So I’m in my own.
3 podcasts a week is my limit, haha.
Frankie could jump in on occasion.
It sounded like you had your mic volume up too high, resulting in clipping/overdriven mic manifesting as static on certain (usually accented) syllables. Also, do you have a windscreen (preferably of the foam type) on your mic?
The effect wasn’t present on other audio sources in your podcast, so it was definitely related to your mic/levels and not encoding artifacts (degradation of the sound quality that results from encoding an audio file into .mp3 format).
Hopefully that helps you identify the source of the issue!
I think he was referring to the static sound degradation on certain syllables when you were speaking. It was not present on any of your other audio sources so I think it’s safe to assume the cause was in your mic/levels.
Check your recording level. There’s a tendency to record with the levels to high (or “hot”) and this results in clipping/sound distortion especially on accented syllables.
It could also be the result of plosives (natural over-accenting of certain sounds/syllables). If you don’t have a good foam windscreen on your mic, you should get one.
…and for some reason I thought that first post was lost, made another, and now they’re both here. Yay, I look like a jackass.
All good, buddy. I will delete it for you.
Awesome, thank you — please delete the first one, I think the second one is an all-around better response.
Love the podcast Pablo, but the rough audio is a distraction from the great content. You should start a gofundme towards getting a decent mic. I for one would gladly donate.
