Watch Captains and Librarians don’t have the option to take a bike, unless its available in the digital codex. It isn’t listed in the special issue war gear.
The Captain can take a jump pack, but the librarian doesn’t have that option.
Well shucks, I could have sworn they did have the option to.
Great review guys! One thing I’m wondering though, is do you think that the army has what it takes to be run as an interesting solo force, or is it another one-trick pony with Deep Striking frag cannons?
inb4 Codex: Frag Cannon
The Frag Cannon seems well balanced. As in, it is perfect for anything you may need it for.
That’s how balance works right?
Speaking as a Tau player, I love to see people spend 250pts on a five-man squad of basic Marines. Seems perfectly fine to me.
This, it may seem cool than you run into one interceptor heavy list……
That is a risk you take with any deepstriking army.
Glad I just picked up Coteaz to ally with my War Convocation.
FYI FLG crew, I’d chip in $5 for you guys to start your own ISP side business on Kickstarter.
🙁

Great show guys, been enjoying your run on Signals. Also, I quite like the monument to Reece joke. I may be alone, but I like it!
Also, the Deathwatch bikers have Skilled Rider, but do not have Hit and Run.
Pablo ya big goober. The emperors finest warriors for xenos hunting are allowed to have bikes, because reasons.
Might want to redact that list, haha.
I’m looking at Deathwatch allies to help with Daemons in an all comers list. You’d think I’d go with Grey Knights but without drop pods to get them right where you want them Turn 1 (Nemesis Strike Force T1 Deep Striking isn’t as accurate and reserve rolls are risky, particularly if a tournament is using Death from the Skies and you have no flyers) and no storm shields to help keep them alive when they get there, they’re just too specific for an all comers list. I’m hoping Fenris II will help with this.
What do you guys think? How would Deathwatch match up vs Daemons?
List looking fun but to few models and all of em more or less “just” marine save. Heavy shooting list will be one of the problems you will have.
