  1. Honestly I think that you could easily drop a priest or two to have two base squads of TWC. Having two base units could easily create a double deathstar with a list like this. Like you guys noticed, there was a lot of psychic overkill. Try creating two deathstars. Best-case scenario, it works. Worst-case scenario, you’re left with a squad of poor poor TWC hanging in the wind. Which would really take some doing with that many psyker ICs.

      1. Ah yes, harken back to the olden days when warhammer was only played by fit men and women who decided rule disputes with arm wrestling instead of dice offs.

        1. At least there were models from the same army years ago. Not a combined mess of multiple books to create a first turn win combo, like a card game. Theme? Realistic looking faction choices? Gone. Now there are Rock ’em Sock ’em robots being air dropped in by teams of flying Tyrants. The game looked and played better before the Kard kidz ruined it.

We didn’t wrestle but, bumped bellies violently to solve disputes. More civilized times.

  2. Just a quick other thing to think about. I moved terrain in my game and you can force a flyer to face a corner and either land or fly off the board. You can turn a vehicle around to get rear armor. Etc..

  3. you got to kidding when reading people run that over the top list for space marines. let run a total of 8 librarians to get a host of powers off wow. you guys really hate 40k that much or really like hearing about all the complaining in the game ny power gamers in general.
but at the same time if it legal people can play or agree not all it when they play

      1. I think he’s getting at the idea that 40k is a social contract – if you don’t like the list/army/opponent, just don’t play them

The issue, of course, is that this is not an option at the tournament level (other than to concede, which is a big fail from a TO’s perspective if someone is just so dejected that they auto concede).

  4. Those powers really itch my comp finger, this is coming from a marine player. I’d like to see 3 or 4 of those powers deleted. Sure there is counterplay and random rolling, but… yeah. I don’t understand why the new and improved ‘perfect timing’ is not wc2. Probably good to give it a few months regardless. Atleast most of the primaris are weak, theres that.
