I know this list is fluffy with the running of the tanks and techmarines. I don’t think this will be super viable tourney list but at least I should be able to have fun running tanks/transports everywhere on the game board. Playing the game on hard mode, the only way to play 😉
Thank you,

>Windriders the best-selling solo kit in the game
Noooooooooo fuckin’ kidding. Who would’ve expected? I’m surprised the Jetseer kit sold so well, though, I can’t specifically recall actually seeing one on the table (though I’m sure I have.)
Yeah, not shocking that the best point for point unit in the game sold well, haha.
why are they releasing more AoS.. it’s like they are alergic to making money.
It was a stupid move on their part for sure to even start up AoS in the first place, but I think it’d be worse to drop it so quickly without even trying to support it for a year. Rumors are they’re going to be throwing a TON of money into it this year (Tzeench themed year apparently) so expect it to be sticking around :/
Ah, the time-honored corporate tradition of “we can’t stop now, we’re already thirty million in the hole! PUT MORE MONEY INTO THE BONFIRE, HAL!!”
There is no way they spent 30 million dollars on AoS so far (sorry if you were being sarcastic), but considering their options at this point I think it’s a smarter business decision to try and make something out of AoS instead of leaving it in the dirt. The game DEFINITELY has potential, they just need to support it a LOT better, MAYBE SOME RULES?!
See, I don’t really think the game has that great of potential. I admit I’m biased in this regard, but in my opinion at least AoS simply isn’t a deep enough game to interest a lot of players. It would make a very cool $100 board game (probably with a handful of $50 expansions, if the industry stayed true to form) to play once in a while, but as a $500+ miniature game? No thank you.
Maybe I’m alone in my opinion, but I think the lackluster sales of AoS give at least some indication that I’m not; people just aren’t impressed with the product GW has produced. Its rules are even more slipshod and “wacky” than 8E Fantasy was- and modern 40K is a miracle of fairness compared to Fantasy when they closed it down.
Which is ironic considering one of the first terms you learn in business school is a sunk cost lol
If they stop now someone has to admit it was a mistake. And in the great tradition of management, not admitting mistakes is worth any loss, up to running the company in the ground and moving on to the next overpaid job.
I’ll let it slide, since they are shirtless dwarves.
Isnt smaug one of gws best sellling kits for the year?
That’s what they said, yes. These were FLG’s top sellers.
Oh lol. Me misread/heard
Ghostkeel at #5 says alot about the unit.
That’s what I was thinking.
Yes, although the model that has been around for years yet still outsold it says even more about cost effectiveness in the game. Yes the humble drop pod.
The ghostkeel benefits from being a really nice model with good rules that become very strong in a couple of formations.
Wooo TSHFT! See you folks there!
