Victorus aut mortis! Corax arrives!
What a bad ass model, I love it! Corvus Corax is the Primarch of the Raven Guard and one of the more compelling Primarchs in the 40k universe (IMO). He was raised on a mining moon and led the people there to their freedom before rejoining his legion. After nearly dying on Istvaan in a conflict with Lorgar and Konrad Curze, Corax tried to rebuild his battered legion by accelerating the process of making an Astartes. This lead to horrible mutations but did bring the Raven Guard back up to fighting strength, enabling them to help fight the traitor legions. After the battle for Terra, Corax felt ashamed of what he had done and fled into the Eye of Terror to seek penance and has not been seen since.
Corax is known for his intelligence, strategic genius (he even beat Robute in a contest of strategy!) and cunning. Unlike other chapters, the Raven Guard are known for laying traps, and striking from the shadows. Corax personifies these attributes. He even has the ability to will himself not to be seen by those he is in the presence of, effectively becoming invisible!
He is certainly an awesome character and I can’t wait to see a painted version of this bad ass. What do you guys think of him?
That’s my main man!
I seriously do love the Raven Guard fluff. They and the Night Lords are my favorite of the legions.
They are each other’s anti-particle
Yeah, they are certainly good foils for one another!
When will Reece set up a battle between Konrad and Corax? The Emo Thunder dome!!!!
You can thank you good ole Alpha Legion for all those Ravengaurd mutants :))
Really? I didn’t know that bit of the fluff.
You need to read Deliverance Lost Reece! While I’m here, Merry Christmas!
I shall! And merry Christmas to you, too, friend!
I love it! I am glad to see his model along with his rules. I plan on buying him first to start my Raven Guard Legion
Nice!
As with Fulgrim, I like him, but what the hell is up with his hair? The Primarchs need to find a better salon.
Lol, it is a bit much, but I get it, it is meant to suggest movement.
The suggestion I get is always not so much “movement” as “DoomRider”.
Haha, nice!
Does he have rules?
If so, where?
Horus Heresy Volume 2, I believe. The one with the Dropsite Massacre.
