- Rumors of new Tau terrain on the horizon? That would be very cool if true.
- Rumors floating around of a new Syanpse rule for Tyranids that supposedly grants a 6+ FnP and Fearless to units in range, and 5+ FnP and Eternal Warrior to the SYnapse Creatures, themselves. This would be awesome if true. Some rumors indicate this is coming from the new Genecult mini-dex we’ve been hearing about since the beginning of 6th ed.
- Rumored Tau Ghostkeel rules:
- Jet Pack MC, units of 1-3
- BS 3
- 4 Wounds
- T5
- 3+
- +2 Cover save to attacks outside of 12″
- Comes with 2 Stealth Drones which apparently gran the model itself shrouded.
- Fusion gun: 18″ small blast melta or Ion weapons, S7Ap4 6 shots which can overcharge for a +1 strength large blast.
- Twin flamer can be swapped for twin burst cannon or fusion.
- Rumored to be a very low price point, just over 125pts?

- A number of questions about Tank Shocking, we will do a special video “How To” with this.
- Lots of Infiltration questions: You do everything for Infiltrators during the Infiltration phase of deployment. They must deploy during this phase.
- Blast Markers: Who is the “target of the attack?”
- KnukkaMagnum asks: Can the Culexus effect psykers in a transport?
- No, unless they target the Assassin in which case the power automatically fails.
- Zaro Asks: Do Iron Hands vehicles get IWND?

For Fun:
Poison and ID on a 6 (regarding DE Lhamaean ‘Lethal Dose”) REALLY..wound on 6-up from 2+ and which means Lethal Dose ALSO- BUT CANNOT get D3 wounds..ONLY 1-Makes NO sense whatsoever given the special rule and the way poison acts in the game..So I basically have NO decent way to take out GC OR MC with my DE…. REALLY!? beginning to wonder which is worse-GW shenanigans or these ITC rules.. in messing my DE up CONSTANTLY….
makes no sense that i CAN wound somehow but lose every benefit… A reply and thoughts on this would be nice.. now my campaign is jacked,may as well forfeit against all GC/MC heavy armies if true…

Definitely a bogus rumor. I’ve never seen a link with a screenshot like that one so far ahead of any codex or release.
small correction.. when SH/GC move through cover it is 3d6 (they have move through cover) and yes you double the result.
3d6, pick the highest one and double it?
sorry- pushed submit too early… Is this an ITC clarification or a rules change? I can’t remember GC being handled differently in the book, but I think beasts (also with their 12″ move) are clearly stated to double the die roll?
Beasts just ignore Difficult Terrain.
Super-Heavy Walkers were errataed by GW to get 3d6 take the highest and double it. Gargantuan Creatures were altered by ITC to bring them in line with the Super-Heavies in this regard.
It’s a GW FAQ, actually, but it was in the ITC FAQ before GW got to it with identical wording.

About time GW stopped slacking this really is the perfect time for me to get back into the game :-). Hoping Chaos get more cool stuff after Tau *fingers crossed*
Seriously though, it shouldn’t take a community to create the errata sheets, GW has all these “rules” but they don’t always clarify things. It puts pressure on the community tournament organizers, to the point where a dice roll still has to determine rules sometimes which raises a stink to whoever loses the roll because of a rules interpretation. if they could actually figure out every single issue and post it in the errata updates, more people would know what works instead of arguing. I remember several times with the paper back Necron codex the argument that since they teleport out into reserve when Night Scuthes are destroyed people would argue they would/ wouldn’t take any damage since they teleport to safety. I just nodded my head and took the damage rolls since Necrons were pretty cheesy back then anyway. (Back in 2013)
I would consider Command Squads instead of those Sternguard. They’ll all have meltaguns and FNP, and save you quite a few points. Additionally, they and their drop pods will be obsec.
I would agree, but unfortunately I think he’s taking them to round out the Auxiliary company requirement for the Gladius. If he goes command squads he has to still take, at minimum, 150ish points of scouts to round out the Gladius. They get special issue ammo too, which can be nice.
I dunno. I’m not a fan of this list. I’ve seen Julio play this concept out and I just feel that the Sternguard are too fragile and lack punch in the long run
Definitely voting yes to Experimental Rules! Would push me to get my Chaos done to use my Knight!
Yeah, FW’s now just saying that Experimental means they don’t intend on publishing it in a book anymore, not that the rules are unofficial.
And none of the Experimental units are powerful enough to warrant any kind of consideration for balance.
I think most people will be cool with it!

One thing to note about the Stormsurge is that you wouldn’t get double shooting on Turn 1 b/c it’s rumored to brace itself for the following turn’s shooting phase. So, I believe that this makes it even more balanced.
Correct, as per the WD wording it “plants” itself during the shooting phase and in _subsequent_ shooting phases gets the bonuses.

Also, if the Tyranid rumor was even remotely true, just the Synapse Creature half would be amazing!! However, I’m super skeptical towards the bubble effect for non-synapse.
Sadly it would do almost nothing to fix Nids… This would just end up making stronger flyrants.
I think if it gets paired up with more price reductions it could definitely help a tonne, but it will also have a side-effect of just buffing the units that are already top tier. I think it would be good solely to bring Warriors/Shrikes back.
Exactly. Even if the rumour was true (which is most likely isn’t) it’s nothing the get your knickers in a bunch over. The biggest change it would bring is that Shrikes becomes a lot better. Flyrants get slightly better. Warriors would suck one degree less (but still suck), and the 6+ FNP will go mostly unnoticed for the rest of the army.
Great episode as usual! I most definitely agree with your thoughts on the Stormsurge and I’m frankly befuddled that so much of the community thinks it is a weak unit. I’m intrigued by the Ghostkeel and think it sounds really strong for the points, but again a lot of people don’t rate it. Are players just expecting every new unit to be the “new” Wraithknight? I’m so darn excited for this release!
