Howdy fellow gamers! Mr.MoreTanks up here in Seattle, underway with the TSHFT Open ITC event with over 50 players and has several Cruisehammer tickets on the line! We’ll keep you up to date on the front runners and see about getting you their lists. Some of the best players in the Pacific North West are here, including; The French Overlord, Capt A, Chuck Arnett, Abuse Puppy, Vincent Price, Joshua Dearth, and more! I must admit that I am a little jealous to be sitting on the side lines for this one, I now understand Reece’s, Frankie’s, and Cap A’s pain.
Here are the final results: http://warscore.net/event/183/view.html?results=20150824183146
If you see that there are any errors, such as your army, please contact TSHFT ASAP to get this info corrected before we submit this information to the ITC.
Congrats to our Cruisehammer ticket winners! Best General Joshua Dearth, Best Renaissance (combo of Sportsman and Appearance scores) Evan Guthmiller, and our two raffle winners, Bob Kelley and Denny Page! Mugu Legion also donated a large collection of prizes that were raffled off to specifically first time attendees. We hope to see you all in January! Check out the TSHFT Facebook page and Cruisehammer Facebook page to keep up with our events.
What’s captain A playing? Is that pinks I see. I hope not……
He’s rocking his well known Cent Star list with Loth and Draigo. No summoning, his opponent brought an aggressive flying circus summoning list. Capt A. pulled the W!
Best of luck to everyone in the running! Wish I could have made it.
Love Bobs demons. Played Them bao2014.
Yeah, they’re pretty awesome!
The ‘My Little Space Marines’ look awesome.) Looks like a fun event, lots of nice looking armies, cheers for sharing.
Any way you can update with the armies being ran by the undefeated players?
Darrick is running CAD /leviathan with 3 flyrants and 2 HQ tervigons with Zoanthropes.
Rupert is running a farseer, wraith knight, scatbikes, wave serpent, warp spider, swooping Hawks list.
Chuck is running his ork biker list with some shoed in chaos for hell drakes.
I will make an effort to snag the top army lists.
Don’t forget the guardians, jetbikes, falcon, and dark reapers!
Fabulous event Mr MoreTanks, well run, great opponents — a total blast.
Terrain was great, tabletop billboards were hilarious and useful, and never has my army been handed to me in such a gentlemanly manner than was by Mr Josh Dearth in round 4. Congrats to champ, looking forward to the PDX redux!
Cheers
Rupert
Two undefeated army’s were space marines and pure orks!!!
Space marine list?
Ultramarines CAD:
Librarian with auspex
Tigurius
2x 5 man tac squads in pods
3 grav centurion squads in pods
Ultramarines Skyhammer
Framers on the assault squads
Multi meltas on the devs
Coteaz
I like it a lot! Thanks dude
Princess Marines! Looks like fun, wish I could have gone
Captain A doing work! Good to see so many Orks on the top tables, too. Well done to Josh on the big win.
I want results! 😀
Good on Orks!
Yeah, 2 Orks in the top 4, nice!
Yeah the last round pairings were pretty interesting:
Table 1: Josh’s Cent Hammer vs. Orks-Daemons
Table 2: Orks with VSG vs. CaptainA Centstar
Table 3: Eldar vs. Farsight Tau
Table 4: Eldar-Marines vs. Necrons with VSG
And a great time was had by all!
Trying to figure how Derrick beat me for best Nids when all my scores and placement were better. I know it was close but…..
Not to sound petty or anything, but it says Josh Bagwell won the Best General award and the cruisehammer ticket, but I thought it was me? Just curious?
Hit up Ben Schimmoller about that, this is his article, he can make the correction if the data is incorrect.
It was definitely you man, check out the final results:

Also from our game, I am pretty certain you can seize back the initiative after giving away T1, I still haven’t found anything to the contrary.
From my side, templates don’t cover 2 levels of ruins like I thought, but you do place them from a 2D perspective, so it wouldn’t have affected how many cents got roasted as they were all on one level anyway.
Oh and Drop Pods are still open-topped, so watch out for that.
Great game and congratulations Josh!
Thank you so much for such an awesome game Rupert. As far as I’m concerned those D-Scythe shots were spot on. No worries on that at all. Yeah, I found out about the opened top the very next game actually. My apologies on that one mate. Thanks again. Can’t wait for round two with you.
I’ll bring all my 5+ rolling to the next one, you better watch out!
