The ultramarine list is illegal. Telion cannot be the Warlord since hes from Allied Detachment.

The textformatting got messed up, Telion is part of the 10th company detachment.
There are no characters in the 10th company formation, and if Telion isn’t part of the allied detachment then it is still illegal (needs 1 HQ)

I have to say I really like the battle company lists. And so far I’ve seen many different variants. Razor back spam, drop pod spam, bike spam, several different space marine chapters etc.
They are fun to watch and feel so much more thematic then the typical death start.
I know people complain about the free transports and it is a strong list, but it doesn’t appear that bad and it’s definitely beatable.
It’s just a fun list to watch people play and play against.
I dunno something feels more fun when you look at a battlefield full of wrecked vehicles and dead troops. Even if you lose you still feel like you had fun.
I do agree with this. It is a solid option but nowhere near unbeatable. The meta is just geared towards Deathstar still so lot of players don’t have the tools to deal with MSU (go ahead and shoot your D slappin WK at my droppod).
I’ve been playing it with Salamanders and loving every minute of it. A lot of fun and every game IS a challenge
