We are just churning out the fights right now and really enjoying our nerd battles. Today Simon ( Je suis!) uses his beardy Ad Mech to take on his brothers (Adams) Iron Manz.
We’re rocking the UKGT rules pack so thats 1500pts, unlimited CADS/ detachments and no restrictions on LOW! The only rule is no unbound and no CTA allies!

Except the UK does play 1850 as well as 2k and even points values lower than 1500. Variety is the spice of life of course.

Theres no denying that the convocation is a very good formation! Definately top tier and of course it upsets some other players with all the free wargear. That is why it is beardy!
Free weapon ugrades and shared rules makes it a good list that people claim is beardy.
However It’s not that bad and it’s honestly the only competitive ad mech, skitarri list you can make so it’s restricted to that one formation which a makes it fairly limited.
On top of that most people feel you still need allied drop pods to make the list truly competitive ehich makes the list even more restricted on what you can take. At that point you really don’t have a lot of models and most ad mech stuff is saddled with t3 3+ saves so it’s not that durable. It can sure shoot you off the board though so it’s strong but I agree not that bad.
