Are you going to organise any AoS tournaments? (the tournament scene makes more people buy new models)
Something would have to be done to balance the game though. We don’t really know much info right now but it seems like a beer and pretzels game made for a good time and nothing more. Doesn’t really have any force organization rules by the looks of it.
I’m trying to look on the bright side though. I never played fantasy so the play style itself really looks great, almost like a skirmish game of sorts with some excellent models. If there is some list building guidelines we’re not aware of then this could be an awesome game. I’d love to play an army of black orks with spiders!

Frequently Asked Questions
————————
– You cannot overlap the bases of multiple models.
– Bases need to align with old versions or what they come with.
– Ranges are measured from the edge of models’ bases.
– A unit that grants a Magic ability (e.g. Summon Terrorgheist) must be in play at the start of the game for your wizards to gain access to that spell.
– If unit dies, you CANNOT use the Magic entry in its profile.
– To get an Organisation bonus, whole Organisation must be on board.
– An Organisation is NOT deployed as a single drop, each unit is deployed separately.
– Army list must be within the overall comp range, models cannot be added to it or changed, however the entire list does NOT need to be deployed.
– “Flavour rules” (e.g. Fateweaver’s +2 to cast, Thane re-roll, etc..) the rule is automatically applied. Konrad will not talk back under any circumstance.
– Saves cannot be improved past 2+ past any means.
– Keywords account for things like “DEATH WIZARDS” if the model contains the Keywords “Death” & “Wizard”. For example, for Epidemius’ tally “Nurgle models” refers to models with the “NURGLE” keyword.
– Summoned units count total wounds killed for overall victory conditions as opposed to only counting models. For example, a Terrorgheist counts for 14 wounds compared to your total wound pool (e.g. 150) rather than 1 model out of whatever number of models you field.
– Unit sizes must be a minimum of 1.
Any KDK players planning on getting this for bad-ass Khorne cultists and possessed? The lord with Khorne dog could double as a Khorne Lord with attack familiar. That big guy looks like he would make a fine helbrute. If anyone is running helbrutes out there. Stormlords look very nice in their artificer armor. BA should love this set too. I’m thinking of picking it up just for the models.
