How come none of the New-Dar challenge videos were posted? I really wanted to feel crappy about the state of competitive 40k and you have denied me the quickest road this anxiety.

Love the batreps, quick question on rods of covenant. I notice you shot them at str 5 ap 2 and then assaulted with them using the str user ap 2 profile as well. This is also how I read the codex, but the interwebs rules lawyers on every forum invoke page 41 of the BRB and claim that weapons with a duel profile can only choose one “mode” per turn, meaning if you shoot with the str 5 ap 2 profile, you don’t also get the ap 2 profile in melee. Do you also read it like this and just overlooked it? If not, can you give your reasons for not doing so? I’d love to hear it as I too think the rods should be played that way. Thanks!
