Yes, I’m very excited. I’d heard about this back in the Fall and hoped it was going to be a 40k game, but I have no doubt this will also be good (and with the success of this game hopefully they’ll break into the virgin territory of an interstellar Total War game).
In the past, the TW series would add regional or period campaigns that introduced new playable factions: I imagine I’m guessing (or hoping) there must be an Elves expansion (High Elves and Dark Elves) and a Skaven expansion (maybe with Lizardmen?) combining a smaller regional map focussed on those factions with unlocking them in the grand campaign. Wood Elves and Beastmen (maybe with Bretonnians) will hopefully make the cut as well.
And the way DLC works, we’ll probably see some Kislev units, maybe even Tileans and Chaos Dwarfs, eventually.
