Recording of Second Live Stream: Dark Eldar vs. Daemons

daemons.01 (2)

We’re still working out some of the technical issues with Twitch, but, the game went down and it was a lot of fun! Daemons vs. Dark Eldar 40k Live Game! We’re hammering out the details as we go. The video gets going around 9:30 and really looks good at about 45 minutes to an hour in when we get into a flow. We plan to stream live on Tuesdays and Thursdays, looking at a 7:00pm EST time slot if possible, but we’ll get that nailed down as we go.

  1. The camera/studio setup is really coming along. I think you know some of the things that need to be implemented – better lighting, artistic backgrounds (that floor makes me wanna hurl :)), dice camera, free holding camera for a person to get close with the action, better angles, turn and game info on screen, pausing for tactics, stuff like that.

Also get some batreps up on youtube! I miss those.

    1. Yeah, agree on all the counts you bring up, brotha. We came in so cold as to how to do this, so it is unfolding to us as we go as it is to all of you! Haha, the FLG way: jump into deep end, learn to swim! haha

The floor is pretty funny – I was wondering what you guys are planning on doing with the walls? you should have someone paint a Bus on it! Seriously are you going to do art and stuff, or solid colors?

The Studio is great and the stream was really fun to watch. I also like the interactivity with chat.

    1. Glad you liked it! We are definitely going to work on polishing it as we know there is a ton of room for improvement. Definitely going to do something about the walls, definitely going to get carpet/rugs for the floor.

I would suggest fan art for the walls, but… honestly asking people to send pictures or drawings…

.. i saw chat, it could get uncomfortable quick… heh

        1. We’ll get a curtain up, first, that will help with the shadows and make a nice, even backdrop. It will also help with the acoustics.

Yeah, unfiltered fan art could get out of hand, fast, lol!

I’ll be interested to see, we’ve been pondering doing battle reports how you handle stuff might give us clues as to what we can do.. it won’t be professional but maybe some things we can implement.
