We are very happy to announce that the NOVA Open 40k GT and Invitational events will be ITC scoring tournaments!

This is a really cool piece of news! NOVA Open is the largest 40k event on the East Coast, and draws a big crowd. It is also a well run and respected event. We are extremely pleased to announce that they will be an ITC circuit event! This means that if you live close to NOVA you have more options for ITC scoring events close by, and for West Coasters considering making the trip, now you can go and earn some pig circuit points which is awesome.

Please note, NOVA does use their own FAQ and Format, so be sure to read up on it before going.

We’re very happy to be bringing the ITC to a premiere event and excited to get more folks participating and pumped to go to NOVA Open, which is a really fun event.

    1. Yeah, it’s awesome! We’re pumped! This means a major scoring event on the East Coast will generate points, which is rad! Plus, it’s an honor to work with the NOVA crew, who run a professional event.

      1. *Blush*

We’re happy to partner up with anything that encourages national competition, interface, socializing, and more.

It’s certainly a major bonus that in doing so, we are partnering with as excellent an organization as Frontline.

    1. While nothing is perfect, both Vegas and DC are pretty affordable from a travel perspective. The NOVA requires 0 travel costs beyond the flight itself and the hotel, as well (free 3 minute shuttle ride from Reagan National Airport, in DC).

That may be small consolation, given everyone has an array of personal travel challenges that make flights or 12 hour drives occasionally quite difficult to pull off!

      1. Oh of course, it would be awesome to travel to one of these! I just lament the midwest being even more lame than it already is. Oh well, at least the few big cons we do get are pretty awesome.

  1. Great news! Been to both NOVA and LVO, and each was fantastic fun. No need for the two to be identical, but it’s good to see major east & west coast TOs taking the extra steps to harmonize the events. Just means more opportunities for great gaming. Now if I could only get to Adepticon next next year…
