Hello all!
As we get closer to the start of the LVO I wanted to make sure that everyone participating in the LVO 40k Championships is up to date on where and when the paint judging will be taking place. It is imperative that all 40k championship players who wish to have their armies closely evaluated by a judge (i.e. on a themed display base) have their armies set up in the hall between 9 – 11 am Friday or Saturday morning. Armies must be clearly marked so that the judges know what army they are judging. During this time the judges will be roaming the tables and evaluating armies. Any players who do not have their armies set up during these times and dates will have their army evaluated during game play on Saturday before the final game.
Best Appearance awards will be awarded after the final game on Saturday night.
Also, anyone interested in picking the brains of professional miniature painters (professional artists in real life) or getting custom painting quotes made and printed at the LVO can do so on Sunday from 12-4 in the main hall. Two painters from Frontline Gaming’s paint studio, Oscar Knutsson and Ashleigh Pritchard, will be on hand to answer any questions you may have on the commission painting process. Any quotes made during this time will be considered set for future projects, even if our pricing goes up in the meantime! Too cool for school.
Good luck to all those putting the finishing touches on their armies. See you in Vegas!
