What it do guys! Sorry its been so long since our last game but its just we’ve all been so dang busy with regular lives lately – Also Cally was pretty exhausting!
We’ve got a pretty fun little tournament coming up in March which in short, here are the rules;
- 1500pts
- 1 Standard CAD only
- No Allies
- No Forge World
- No LOW
- No Knights
- No Malefic powers (No demon summoning!)
- and No more than 3 wave Serpants…(A weird one which I don’t really agree on but we’ll work with it!)

Do you guys still play a lot of 1500pts in the UK, Simon? I know that was the standard for a long time.
No not at all! The standard now is 1750/1850. The 1500 pts comp is a homage to 5th edition and just a bit of fun
Ah, nice one! Yeah, i remember reading tournament results from the UK years ago and it was always 1500pts. That’s cool though, makes for fast games.
I find that 1750/1850pts is a good mix between finishing games and getting all your toys. Still a lot of games don’t finish but not much you can do about that as some folks just play slow.
i received a similar thrashing from the farsight bomb this weekend. I hate the tau so much.
