Upcoming ITC Events
Rumors: The Rumor Section is gathered from the web and is not in any way information we receive from any manufacturer nor is it necessarily accurate. This section of the podcast is intended for entertainment purposes only.
- Blood Angels! Sounds like they are on the horizon. We’re hearing tons of cool stuff, like Heavy Flamers in Tactical Squads, a new Heavy Cannon for Terminators? Not sure what that is, but apparently it is a two handed terminator shooting weapon, sounds cool.
- Pictures floating around the net of the new Sanguinary priest that if they are real, looks slick!
- The rules for the Captain in the new box set looks not bad, he’s cheap at 150, in termie armor with a master-crafted Thunder Hammer, and gives you +1 to seize, and reroll reserves. Not bad.
- The Broodlord Special Character looks cool, too. Preferred enemy and Stealth, pretty good!
- Dante coming in plastic? Hopefully with some better rules, too.
- Magna Grapples to now give MtC and reroll charge distance vs. vehicles.
- Blood Talons to be AP2, Shred, Specialist Weapons.
- The Quickening, their rumored Primaris power, is a WC1 blessing, that gives the caster or another character within 12″ fleet and +D3 In and Attacks.
- Next Endtimes book to be Skaven!
- Exterminatus to be the next Shield of Baal book, and said to feature Blood Angels and Necrons.
- Small sized codices rumored to be coming out.
Rant Session
- Changing Space Marines base sizes.

List Review
man, I’m so jonesing for the codex right now.. wowsers:). It looks like every character in ba will get the option of artificer armour[maybe even… captains;P]. If there is a big two handed shooty gun for terminators, it could well be a frag canon.
It’s getting harder to think about bringing my BA/cerastus knight army to LVO…. it might just be pure ba. gah which bandwagon to be a part of;P.
Looking forward to having another battle report with you guys the weekend before LVO if you’re free:)
Nice podcast as always gents 🙂 I am looking forward to that broodlord model.. not sure if he is good enough to make me change my list at all but I am def getting that model!
You will catch that predator, Geoff! lols
I doubt he is good enough… I think he’s only available in a formation with 8 other genestealers and comes in at over 200?
But definitely an awesome model that I will pick up
The amount of sm I would have to rebase……jesus. the reaso people accepted the broadsides, the terminaters and wwraithguard was that people tentended to not have a lot of them
Doesn’t look like the bases will be changed, apparently it was a modelling decision for the artist/painter not that they are going forward with that choice.
I saw that post as well. The fact that the GW reply says, ’20mm’ bases makes me wonder about it’s reliability. Everything has been 25mm forever hasn’t it?
Could be a typo of the person writing the article
I don’t mind the change to bases, it’s great for spreading out to avoid blast dmg on marines
I think a little bigger bases will be neat for modeling purposes – mind you I don’t have a ton of space marines fully based either.
..but the opportunity to put more scenic on your bases is neat to me.
LVO question:
What’s your take on models charging units on the second level of a building but either their base is to big to fit on the floor or that the opponent has spread out their units so that a model can’t come into base to base contact with them? Trying out a heavy assault list and in two games my opponent just turtled up on the second floor and all I could do was use harsh words and finger gestures in hopes they would come down.
Page 537 of the digital rulebook states that if you can’t reach base to base with your opponent you a have 2 inch horizontal and a 6 inch vertical kill zone so guys on the bottom floor can easily stab up to the second floor with their chainswords lol
Forgot to put that you still have to reach them with your charge roll, you just don’t need to be in BtB if it’s not possible
Damn straight Beerhammer is the main event!
