  1. Reece was your Raptors detachment not a Combined Arms? Aren’t Scouts from C:SM a Troops choice? Don’t they have ObSec?
Surely A Cryptek on his own doesn’t have it, as he’s not Troops, just gets assigned to a Troops unit. Pretty certain his battlefield role doesn’t change.

    1. A cryptek that joins a unit of troops become part of that unit (and gains the attributes of that unit). It is not longer a HQ selection if it joins the troop unit.

At least that is the consensus on how the crypteks are played. Basically, it is like the wolf guards joining Space Wolf units of yesterday’s Wolves. The wolf guard/cryptek then becomes just a glorified sergeant of the unit.

    2. Theres some debate with the cryptek but with everyone I’ve played with we’ve come to a consensus that the cryptek is just apart of the unit a’la space wolves wolf guards.

  2. Poor Sicaran. You’re going to make the Mechanicus pretty annoyed if you keep letting their toys sit out in the open like that.

Is it permissible for an Artillery Crew to make an assault move? I’m not sure the Tech was allowed to make that charge.

      1. ‘s ok–I only know because I frequently play Shadow Weavers (the most undercosted unit in the Eldar Codex! Muwahahaha, etc.).

  3. Cool game, good job Reecius! Issodon is such a fun character to play with!

Any chance on getting the army lists you guys used?

    1. He is, I love him.

      I was playing:

      Issodon
      Wolf Priest
      Scouts x 10
      Scouts x 10
      Scouts x 10
      Scouts x 10
      Blood Claws x 15
      Stormwolf: M.Meltas
      Long Fangs x 6: M.Meltas x 5
      Thunderfire
      Sicaran
      Grav Centurions

  4. I’m waiting for iNcontroL commission and play-test his ‘mycetic spores’ in a list. There’s no words to describe how scary the dimacheron is going to be when it can hit back field reliably!

  5. Awesome battle report. There were some interesting plays in there, it was really good to see the raptor hero in a video report.
