  1. a quick note, as of 7th, walkers don’t get to turn for free to shoot at what they like, so the intercepting dread could not have hit the flyers that came on behind it.

      1. What section is that in? Not everyone has the digital edition. Mine says that LoS is measured from the mounting point of the weapon, so if the walker can’t pivot, it can’t shoot behind him. For overwatching, it says that a walker can overwatch against something outside it’s firing arc unless it’s immobilized.

        1. Yes you are right and I read it wrong, they can fire outside of their weapon arc but only when overwatching.

And I only own the digital edition, so I could not tell where it is in the printed one.

    1. Also, by not moving, it had Skyfire so it would have been Snap Shots at the Tac Squad, no choice about that. Contemptors aren’t great anymore with the change to Skyfire/Interceptor. You gimp them in their phase to have a shot at Intercepting Flyers, and then of course the reduced LoS.

  2. Was it the centurion unit that overwatched the bike squad? If it was, they have slow and purposeful which means that the whole unit can’t overwatch.

  3. Josh had some fantastic looking scouts and the LOtD.
RD with a characteristic loss, bringing a close game down to the last roll and dropping a 1. I recommend voodoo.

  4. Another note: unless I’m mistaken, Raw Dogger’s Tactical Squad that got blown out of the RZback by the scouts should not have been able to assault on the next turn (forced disembarked). Also, does infiltrate confer to a dedicated transport? Don’t think the Land Speeder Storm can infiltrate (it can outflank or deepstrike though).

    Lots of Stormtalons! Holy crap!

  5. Playing games with unpainted models is not done in our gaming club. Showing them on a website like this in a battle report is just heresy. The tables I see on frontline are awesome but most of the armies are just horrible to watch because mostly they are unpainted and some units are not even glued together.

    1. We always strive to have painted stuff in the videos, but, GW releases new material so fast and we always want to try out new combos, formations, and lists, that it is often impossible to do. And while sometimes there are models not fully assembled, that is really rare in our videos. This one, obviously, being one of them.
