    1. You are correct, it’s an unusual force weapon due to the two Runic Weapon rules (cancel powers on a 4+; wounds Daemons on a 2+) and is thus AP3. Although interestingly Njal’s staff is specifically a Force Stave as per the FAQ….so there is an argument that Rune Priest weapons are as modeled, or are at least intended to be that way.

  1. If you enjoyed that style of game, I encourage you to look into Highlander styled events. I got to play in my first this weekend and it definitely was a nice change of pace. It really started having me think outside the box and utilize a lot of strategies/tactics that I’ve not really thought about when running optimized lists. Thanks for the report.

Also, one of our players received his Mega Mat. I got to play a game on it and it is fantastic. I’m hoping my cityfight mat will be in the mail this week! Great product.

    1. Glad you like the Mega Mat! That’s awesome. We love them.

And yeah, the Highlander format is pretty dang cool, I like it a lot as a change of pace! It makes for very fun games. We like to do it here form time to time to mix things up.

  2. Cool game guys, these remain my favourite batreps for length/banter/fully painted armies (We’ll pretend the ogryn we’re extra’s from Steve Vai’s “Crazy Horse” music video) Keep up the good work.
