That’s a pretty slick way to play pods.
I would like to point out that the riptides could target the farthest edges of the Drop Pods’ hulls to get their pie plates off, though.
I should have shown in the video, but that’s generally not a big deal. The big plate is 5 inches wide, so 2.5 inches is the furthest it can reach, you can disembark 6 inches. More often than not you can still make it so zero or just one Marine gets hit. True the pie plate may kill the pod, but when Dropping against Tau you’re not worried about First Blood.

Oh yeah, it’s definitely worth mentioning. I meant to include it in the vid, but I ended up not getting it in because I’m terrible at this. They’ll get better though, I promise!
