- We’ll be out of the shop, Saturday and Sunday, August 3-4 for the Golden Throne GT. Also, Reece will be gone for a week on vacation, but will answer emails as frequently as he can.

Tactics Corner
- This comes to us via Jeremy D. When damaging a vehicle, particularly in assault, and you don’t want to blow it up, apply your glances first. Pg. 74 of the BRB states that as soon as a vehicle loses its last HP, it becomes a wreck providing a 5+ cover save and often, blocking LoS.
- A lot of people are scared of artillery. Here are some tips for beating them.
- They can’t move, so anything that forces them to move auto-kills them. Tank Shocking, a Mawloc, etc.
- Most characteristic tests kill them outright such as with Jaw of the World Wolf.
- If they fail a break test in assault, the entire unit is taken off of the board. They also use the crew’s toughness in assault, which is often 3. If even a single Marine or two make it, you have very good odds of sending them packing.
- Reece’s cousin recently bought an IG army we were selling on consignment for a customer and wanted us to touch on some tactics with IG.

Rules Lawyer
- Terrain rules often played wrong.
- Ruins. Only Beasts, Infantry, Jetbikes, Skimmers, and Jump and Jet Pack units can go up levels. Ruins are not area terrain as commonly believed, they are difficult terrain and only provide a 4+ cover save if you have a wall between you and the firing unit. If there is no wall obscuring you, you actually don’t get a save. No one plays it that way, though.
- Ruins do not give a +2 for a 1+ save when you go to ground, even if they have a base. Pg.98 BRB
- Hills are not area terrain as I so often see it played, they are open terrain, however, if they obscure the target they will provide a 4+ cover save as they are hard cover. PG.18 BRB.
- If you cast Endurance on a vehicle, does it gain relentless? If so, would that mean that it can move at cruising speed and then fire all of its weapons as if it had held still? I couldn’t find anything that said you couldn’t or anything that said vehicles can’t become relentless.

Kind of Worried about the ethereal being the warlord seeing as he is so easy to splat,
Might want to ditch the broadside Team for a better commander, also worried about too few marker lights
