The IG army is awesome (and friggin huge)! New Eldar look like so much fun though. Between battle focus, rending basic weaponry, and super serpents…. I just wish I had the cash to drop on another army hahaha. The web content has been great guys. Much appreciated.

That was a brutal game there Reece. I felt bad for Francoise the entire game. Goes to show you the wrath of the new Eldar.
Yeah, no kidding. I mean luck was seriously on my side, but it was pretty brutal.
Dettol is pretty good at removing paint as well. Looks like IG were having a blast! They sort of remind me of those guard that were pale and made to be super soldiers, but then have terrible luck. Can’t remember the name of them though

Afriel Strain Soldiers. There used to be rules for them in White Dwarf 302 (among other abumans), back when IG had doctrines they could take. They are marines-lite but have bad luck and give those around them the creeps.

Great battle report I would love to see the new tau vs the new eldar.
I think Tau will be tough for Eldar. However, that is one of the only armies in the game we don’t have at the shop! We’re working on that, though.

I was curious whether you’d start working in some of the barrage weaponry into your list, since you seemed to gravitate towards it in other TAC lists. Is the wraithknight and walkers that much better to you are is this purely a model on hand/desire to play thing.
I tried the Night Spinner and it was pretty good. I think it is a good choice, honestly. It is so cheap! I also tried the Vaul’s support unit and liked it, too but wasn’t blown away by it, honestly. Barrage weapons are seriously useful but as you said, the other heavy choices are just so good. It seriously is a tough choice.

Quick rules comment. I don’t think the wraith knight gets a cover save behind the ageis. I have not found anything that says it ignores the 25% rule.

This is one that a lot of folks miss. MCs take cover saves like infantry. The Aegis may not do it, but another unit would as well as area terrain. The WK didn’t take the save form a n aegis though, it was the serpent.
