Heavy Gear Hobby Blog Continued!

Here is a few pictures of my Northern Force. I have a large Southern Army as well, and I can’t wait to get enough of them painted so that we can finally post up some quality video battle reports to show everyone the awesomeness that is Heavy Gear!

I painted my Northern Forces up in a desert scheme as they are most commonly depicted in the fluff. My Southern Force is a jungle theme, which also is presented in the game’s background. It provides a really nice contrast between the two armies to help differentiate them. I really dig the models as they are very detailed and have a cool, anime inspired aesthetic to them.

These are just base coated so far, with some airbrush work, but look great and are playable at this stage. Once they are detailed and I add some transfers, they will really look sweet.
