Nice job with the Trukk Orks.
Seems to me CSM with 2×10 zombie cultists to meet troop requirement and then 2×20 shoota Boyz and 1×30 are Boyz will take, hold or contest a lot of objections for 550 pts (is that right?). The Boyz are fearless and they can foot slog behind some heavy CSM firepower. 1200 pts of CSM offense would do a lot of damage and open the field for the Orks.
Just a thought after seeing the battle report it looks like Orks did some good things but with more bodies could have weathered shooting better. Oh, I forgot one 60pt war boss.
Thanks! The Trukk Boyz are just super fun to play. They have some massive weaknesses, but they are a blast.
Yeah, Ork allies are fantastic because they are so good at taking objectives. Don’t underestimate that Warboss, he hits like a freight train. Putting him on a bike and kitting him out is definitely worth the points. He is such a powerful, mobile attack unit. I use 2 and I love them!

I play Orks myself. Where does it say that Lobbas are Barrage? I was looking in the FAQ’s but couldnt find it……
Hey Fatz, the G in the Lobbas profile stands for Guess Range, which means barrage now. Guess was an old term for when you actually had to guess the range on barrage weapons!
I play night lords as well, csm troopers suck unfortunately despite the dope paint schemes. I actually am toying with a terminator lord that is a night lord but that I can use as Abby or typhus, counts as for the troopers too. Night Lords rock because you can use the halloween theme for nurgle very easily.
I am on the same page. I have a Scibor Termie lord that looks super boss, I will probably use him and then use Choasen or PMs as troops. I have some Night Lords with shields that I use as Plague Marines, and Chosen work well for the Original Night Lords as they are pretty bad ass and don’t suck as hard as CSM do.
How were you able to instant death Typhus with a Str 9 Power Klaw on the charge?
Typhus is Tough 5, and the Warboss is Strength 10 with his Klaw (base 5) not 4 like the Nobs.
Hey Reecius, how did you put those assault-plank trukks together? Any construction log on those arotund the ‘net, or any guidelines on how to do that conversion?
You put the Trukk bed in front of the engine, basically swap the front and the back on the chassis and then put the assault ramps in the front. Looks coo, doesn’t? I can’t take credit for it, though, Will built them.
